Julian Boal, son of Theatre of the Oppressed creator, Augusto Boal, is doing his first workshop in Boston , for the Wheelock Family Theatre.  This is a unique opportunity to work with Julian and to learn more about Theatre of the Oppressed, Image Theatre, and Forum Theatre.

THE WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL.    SORRY, REGISTRATION   IS CLOSED.

The workshop will include Theatre of the Oppressed games and exercises, leading to the creation of Forum Theatre plays, which will be presented to a participating “audience” FREE on Sunday Oct 11 at 2:00

For more information about the workshop, about Theatre of the Oppressed and scholarship opportunities, please visit tabs on the top.

Twenty four partial  scholarships were awarded.  Donations toward scholarships for registration are welcome. Although deadline for scholarship application has passed, we still accept donations for scholarships.  Visit the Scholarship Tab for full information to donate toward  scholarships.

Our only funding is from workshop registrations. We are paying expenses and scholarships from those funds. We encourage everyone to raise as much toward registration as possible.  Fundraising Tips will soon be posted on the Scholarship Tab.
